The Ubiquiti Wave Pico is a compact yet incredibly capable 60GHz radio designed to meet the demands of modern South African network deployments. By leveraging Wave technology, this unit delivers true duplex gigabit performance, making it an ideal choice for Point-to-Point (PtP) links up to 3km or as a high-performance CPE in Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) configurations. For added reliability, it features a 5GHz WiFi 6 backup radio that automatically takes over if the primary 60GHz link is affected by heavy weather, ensuring your connection remains uninterrupted. Managing the device is straightforward via the UISP platform, and the inclusion of a Bluetooth radio allows for quick mobile setup. Every unit comes with a dedicated alignment tool to help technicians achieve precise antenna positioning for maximum signal integrity. Please note that firmware version 3.2.0 or later is required to enable PtP functionality.
