Bridging the gap between your PoE switch and remote devices, the Ubiquiti UACC-LRE is a rugged outdoor Gigabit adapter designed for long-distance networking. This unit is the perfect solution for South African installations where cameras or access points are situated far from the main cabinet. By daisy-chaining multiple adapters, you can extend your PoE reach up to a massive 1km. Built to survive the outdoors, it features 10kA+ surge protection to guard against lightning and power spikes, and it operates across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 80°C. Please note that this device supports a maximum MTU of 1500, so it is not compatible with jumbo frames.
